So what’s in the case?
Firstly, one of our OG favourites, the Bride Valley Dorset Cremant. This wine has a fresh light yellow colour touched with hints of lemon. The continuous pin-prick bubbles show the bottle fermented effervescence. The Crémnat has a much less aggressive fizz and because of this it gently slides onto the pallet which a fantastic creamy expression which is then backed by hints of white flowers and white summer fruits.
Secondly, this case includes a new favourite for us, the Carr Taylor Demi Sec. The Carr Taylor Demi Sec is a gentle golden colour with a soft peachy nose with hints of apple and vanilla. The fresh fruit flavours have a subtle complexity and a luscious, sweet finish. A rich velvety mouth feel and a creamy mousse crown this superior sparkling wine. This Demi Sec is perfect for afternoon teas.
Thirdly, an excellent value, true classic English Sparkling Wine: the Wiston Estate Cuvee NV. Wiston Estate Cuvee Brut NV is a beautiful wine with crisp apple and baked toast aromas. With a zingy acidity, this is a complex, savoury fizz with fine bubbles. Works beautifully as an aperitif with olives and smoked nuts or fish dishes. Wiston Estate Cuvee Brut NV winemaker: Dermot Sugrue
Finally, we’ve included another classic in the Simpsons Chalklands Classic Cuvee. A beautifully delicate wine with floral aromas of millefeuille and citrus. Fine and precise on the palate, with delicious hints of caramelised pear. Match with smoked salmon, Whitstable oysters, or serve by itself as an aperitif. A truly wonderful wine, and one we know you’ll really love. Now you’ve got yourself a case full of English Winners. Enjoy!
