What's in the case?

This case includes:

Two white wines –

Bardfield Bacchus

This wine has scents of goosebury, nettle, honeysuckle and elderflower. Refreshing yet mellow apple on the palate. Pairs well with seafood and summer salad.

Sharpham Dart Valley Reserve

This wine has beautiful aromas of stone fruits such as white peach on the nose.  The palate is rounded with a subtle spice on the finish.  Pair with chicken or seafood salads and light tapas dishes and paella.

Two Rosé wines –

Redwing Regent

Made from the Regent grape, this is a bright and crisp rosé with a lovely salmon pink colour.  Red fruits delight on the nose followed by a palate of strawberries, cranberries and redcurrant.

Serve with white meat, cheese or charcuterie.

Giffords Hall Rosé

This lovely wine has distinct aroma of roses, white peach and wild strawberry notes.  The palate is fresh with red berry flavours and a touch of pink grapefruit.  Delightful as an aperitif but also a wonderful accompaniment to fish dishes.

Also available in a magnum size!

Two Red Wines –

Winbirri Signature

This bold red is bursting with rich plum and dark-berry fruits; spicy with notes of coffee and blackberries.  Plum and vanilla come through beautifully on the palate.  An excellent accompaniment to cheese.

Winbirri Reserve

A pronounced nose of rich spices and vanilla.  Bursting with autumn fruits on the palate.  Aged for 12 months in oak barriques; a perfect match for red meats.

Only tried 2 so far but both have been delicious. The winbirri signature reminds me of wine from the loire, light and fruity at first on the palet, then with some depth and a pleasant finish.
The Giffords Hall rose is great as an aperitif or with a light starter on a spring/summers day. Very drinkable! Looking forward to trying the rest.

A lovely treat for horrible times – and a great introduction to English wine too. The Bardfield was perfect for virtual Friday night drinks with friends – and your description summed it up perfectly.. Thanks so much for collating and creating – I look forward to getting through the rest and re-ordering…
