Welsh Wine Week
Welsh Wine Week is a week-long celebration of the wines and vineyards of Wales. This is a fabulous opportunity to get to know the independently-minded producers of Wales and their wines.
Help us to grow awareness of Welsh wines and share your photos/videos on social media with the hashtag #WelshWineWeek – Find out more about the campaign here.
What’s in the case?
Firstly, we have an all-time favourite of Elizabeth Rose Wines: The Montgomery Limited Edition Pinot Noir. We are huge admirers of Montgomery’s wine range and this red is outstandingly beautiful. One you will want to shout about from the rooftops. Explore the full range of Montgomery wines here.
Secondly, this case includes the ridiculously delicious White Castle 1581. You’re right, this is not any old red wine. This is a Welsh fortified wine – made in a similar style to Vintage Port. This is seriously good. Not to be saved for special occasions, this fortified wine is for opening and enjoying with cheese (cheese is compulsory here) at any time of the year and on any day of the week.
Thirdly, the White Castle Regent: A cult favourite, this wine flies off the shelves and is a must-taste for anyone exploring Welsh wines. Likened to a Chianti, this has to be bought to be believed.
Finally, we’ve included the delightfully smooth Rondo from Montgomery in Wales. This is easily one of the best reds we’ve tasted from Rondo grapes. A truly wonderful wine.
This is such a gluggable red, and one we know you’ll really love. Now you’ve got yourself a case full of Welsh Winners. Enjoy!
