Carr Taylor Demi Sec
Firstly, the Carr Taylor Demi Sec is a gentle golden colour with a soft peachy nose with hints of apple and vanilla. The fresh fruit flavours have a subtle complexity and a luscious, sweet finish. A rich velvety mouth feel and a creamy mousse crown this superior sparkling wine. This Demi Sec is perfect for afternoon teas.
Tickerage Blanc de Blancs
Medium gold with an intense and prolonged fine bead and mousse. Clean nose with hints of honey and caramelised apple. The extended lees ageing means the honey theme continues on the palate, balanced nicely with crisp acidity and hints of melon, cucumber, thyme and orange blossom. A long, vinous finish. 9 years on the lees has given this wine a wonderful complexity, a lovely example of an English, 100% Chardonnay, sparkler.
Wiston Estate Cuvée NV
Wiston Estate Cuvée NV is a beautiful wine with crisp apple and baked toast aromas. With a zingy acidity, this is a complex, savoury fizz with fine bubbles. Works beautifully as an aperitif with olives and smoked nuts or fish dishes. Wiston Estate Cuvée NV winemaker: Dermot Sugrue
Stopham Pinot Gris
Stopham Estate Pinot Gris is off-dry, with aromatic peach and pear fruit alongside the floral character on the nose. On the palate, this has excellent balance with crisp acidity. It is fairly full in body, with plenty of juicy fruit intensity, but is refreshing and long, with a lively citrus and stone fruit finish. Stopham Estate Pinot Gris is excellent with spicy dishes and roast pork.
The Cavendish has aromas of red berries, almonds and toast. A fuller, more red fruited style wine. Pairs well with duck, trout and charcuterie.
Bluebell Vineyard Ashdown Rosé
Finally, Bluebell Vineyard Ashdown Rosé has aromas of wild strawberry with a hint of violet. This leads to juicy cranberry and delicate rhubarb on the palate resulting in a creamy mouthfeel with a long finish. Vivid and bold in colour, it is both full bodied and bone dry. This is excellent as a mouth-watering and refreshing summer wine. Bluebell Vineyard Ashdown Rosé is perfect as an aperitif. Or pair with salted almonds, smoked duck or cured meats, and summer fruit desserts.
