The vineyard is situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Woodchurch in Kent – the garden of England.
Set on hills looking south over the ancient Romney marsh down to the English channel, the land has the perfect geography and climate to produce the highest quality grapes and the finest English sparkling wine.
Woodchurch wines are carefully hand-crafted to express the characteristics of each individual season.
The vineyard shop is open on weekends from 11am until 5pm and private tours are available.
It is commonly recognised that southern England now provides the perfect growing conditions for grapes to produce outstanding sparkling wine.

A lovely English sparkling wine and having tried others from Woodchurch they are certainly a winemaker to follow. A rich mousse / pale gold in colour with plenty going on in its bouquet – pear being dominant. On tasting; pear again, red apple, honeyed shortbread with a good citrus zing to balance. 3.75/5 for me and a good starting point if new to ESW.
