On the nose this wine gives grassy and nettle notes.

This is followed by a palate of exploding floral and citrus flavours with a delightful crisp and lingering finish.

An excellent food wine which goes well with ham, white meats, salmon and salads.

About the vineyard

Kingscote Estate

An estate steeped in history!  It is believed that Kingscote was once a hunting lodge for the King.

In 1320 the Kingscote Estate Farmhouse was built as an Iron Master’s Hall house.  The iron extracted from the land was used to make cannon balls for the English civil war!

In 1884, the land at Kingscote Estate was purchased by the “greatest gardener of all time”, William Robinson who nurtured the grounds.

In 2010, Monge, who was the owner and founder of the vineyard, started his project to make exceptional wines, and the first vines were planted.

Following the loss of Monge in 2015, a new team set about building the brand and continuing Monge’s dream of creating beautiful English wines.
