What's in the case?

Six gorgeous wines to show off the best English white wines.  This case includes:

Biddenden Ortega

Grape – Ortega

This wine is semi-aromatic on the nose, and displays appealing fresh aromas of green apple, grapefruit, cut grass and flora, whilst the palate is medium bodied, crisp, characterful and deliciously fruity.

Delicious when served as an aperitif, this refreshing white would also pair well with lightly spicy dishes and simple seafood.

Sharpham Dart Valley Reserve

Grape – Madeleine Angevine

This wine has beautiful aromas of stone fruits such as white peach on the nose.  The palate is rounded with a subtle spice on the finish.

Pair with chicken or seafood salads and light tapas dishes and paella.

Tuffon Hall Amelia

Grape – Bacchus

Awarded a silver medal at the East Anglian Vineyard Association 2018.

On the nose this wine offers aromas of traditional elderflower and honeysuckle that are common to Bacchus, but also enticing riper aromas of peach and pear that are rarely found in English wines.  On the palate is juicy fresh apple and melon.

As always this is a wine that can be thoroughly enjoyed on its own, but also pairs well with a mixed barbecue, summery salads, local asparagus, pan-fried whitefish or a plate of oysters.

Bardfield Anne of Cleves

Grape – Bacchus

A delightful bacchus with round fruit flavours. Soft and refreshing with delicate pear on the palate. Easy drinking and delicious on its own, or with a summer BBQ.

Stopham Pinot Blanc

Grape – Pinot Blanc

Stopham’s Pinot Blanc is a dry wine which has gorgeous pear and primrose on the nose with pink grapefruit, melon and sweet fennel on the palate.  It has zippy acidity balanced by a touch of sweetness which lasts well into the lengthy finish.

Excellent with smoked fish.

London Cru Chancery Lane

Grape – Chardonnay

This delicious wine has aromas of fresh green apples, pears and a touch of freshly-baked bread.  Light and delicate in the mouth, with soft, rounded texture and a long, mineral finish.

Match with a plate of oysters, or a fresh English garden salad.
