The Stanlake Park Reserve is a fruity, elegant dry red wine, with a delicate bouquet of ripe black cherry, blackberry and Mediterranean herbs, in perfect balance with aย fresh, smooth body.
20% of the wine is aged 6 months in used French oak barrels.
Pair with red meat and lamb, mushrooms, grilled vegetables and well-seasoned, creamy soups.

Nico Centonze, Stanlake Parkโs skillful Italian winemaker, personally follows the progress of each wine, carefully tasting, blending, and selecting which wines to bottle or mature. The whole wine making process, from vine to bottle, is meticulously overseen and guaranteed.

About the vineyard
Stanlake Park
The Estate dates back to 1166 when when the land was held by Patrick Earl of Salisbury. The estate was then named Hinton Pipard and the site of the original manor house was on the edge of the northern most perimeter, at Botany Bay Copse, where a quadrangular moat can still be seen.
During the second half of the 20th centuryย Stanlake Parkย was owned by the Leighton family, of which Jon Leighton had the vision to plant a vineyard in 1979, when a small test area of 500 vines was planted. The original vineyard was known asย Thames Valley Vineyard, but was later renamed after theย Stanlake Parkย estate itself.
The initial test area was then expanded to over 15 acres and more than 10,000 vines.ย Stanlake Parkย grows a large number of grape varieties โ including Bacchus, Schรถnburger, Madeleine Angevine, Seyval blanc, Triomphe d’Alsace, Gewรผrztraminer, Ortega, Dornfelder, Siegerebbe, Optima, Pinot Grigio and the classic Champagne varieties Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay.
Winemaking takes place within a 17th Century Reformation barn which houses the largest winery inย Berkshire, capable of handling over 200 tonnes of fruit in any one season. Our disgorging line was one of the first being used inย England. The fastidious attention to detail in the vineyard continues in the winery, where the entire process is carefully monitored and controlled by Nico Centonze, ourย expert winemaker.

This wine has surprising complexity considering only 20% of it has been aged in oak.
A lovely balance between black fruits and earthy French oak character with soft but noticeable tannins.
