Stopham Pinot Gris 2019 This wine has beautiful mango and passion fruit on the nose. It is a dry white wine with juicy peach and refreshing apricot on the palate. Excellent with spicy dishes and roast pork. Tickerage Blanc de Blancs 2011 Medium gold with an intense and prolonged fine bead and mousse. Clean nose with hints of honey and caramelised apple. The extended lees ageing means the honey theme continues on the palate, balanced nicely with crisp acidity and hints of melon, cucumber, thyme and orange blossom. A long, vinous finish. 9 years on the lees has given this wine a wonderful complexity, a lovely example of an English, 100% Chardonnay, sparkler. Tuffon Hall Amelie 2019 On the nose this wine offers aromas of traditional gooseberry and honeysuckle that are common to Bacchus, but also enticing riper aromas of peach and pear that are rarely found in English wines. On the palate is juicy fresh apple and melon. As always this is a wine that can be thoroughly enjoyed on its own, but also pairs well with a mixed barbecue, summery salads, local asparagus, pan-fried whitefish or a plate of Mersea oysters.

Stopham Bacchus 2018 This delightful wine is floral on the nose with orange peel and grapefruit on the palate. It has moderate acidity with a touch of sweetness making it easy to drink as an aperitif. Stopham Pinot Blanc 2018 Stopham’s Pinot Blanc has a creamy nose with a faint but classic Pinot Blanc nuttiness. Ripe pears and honeydew-melon roundness but with piercing lime-streaked acidity. Stopham Pinot Gris 2018 This Pinot Gris is off-dry, with aromatic peach and pear fruit alongside the floral character on the nose. On the palate, this has excellent balance with crisp acidity. It is fairly full in body, with plenty of juicy fruit intensity, but is refreshing and long, with a lively citrus and stone fruit finish.

Just 5,000 bottles of this wine were made. A sumptuous combination of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes. Pale gold, this sparkler has a clean and crisp nose, fresh honey and ripe citrus with hints of biscuit. The bead is intricate and strong. Soft and velvety with a lasting, elegant finish.

Somborne Valley English Sparkling ‘Blush’ Rosé 2014£31.99
An exquisite rosé ‘blush’ with a fine mousse and wonderfully delicate notes on the palate. It is perfectly delicious for any celebration, posh picnics, alfresco dining and other fun occasions. The nose is clean, with aromas of raspberries, strawberries, lemon zest and brioche. The palate gives delightful strawberries, peaches and cream.
The Fitzrovia Rosé is a delicate salmon colour with an abundance of fine bubbles. Chardonnay brings freshness and finesse, whilst the Pinots add the classic red fruits for which England is so acclaimed. A raspberry and redcurrant nose carries through to a fresh fruit-driven palate with delicate notes of citrus and honey. Perfect paired with lobster, summer pudding and sunshine. Lyme Bay Sandbar 2018£15.99
Ideal conditions after the 2018 summer heatwave produced a near perfect growing season. A prolonged spell of hot weather followed by very little rain enabled grapes to fully ripen on the vine, resulting in intense flavour and body. The nose gives clean, zingy grapefruit, lemon and lime, orange peel, and a hint of blackcurrant and elderflower. The palate is medium bodied, Sandbar is a fresh and zesty wine with a crisp, balanced acidity and great structure.
Lyme Bay Shoreline 2018£14.99
Ideal conditions after the 2018 summer heatwave produced a near perfect growing season. A prolonged spell of hot weather followed by very little rain enabled grapes to fully ripen on the vine, which showed in both excellent quality & high yields. This wine has been aged for four months on fine lees to give excellent structure and mouthfeel. The nose is clean and gives fresh lemon and lime, with some tropical pineapple and pear notes. The palate is dry, crisp and well-rounded with good length and acidity. An excellent match for seafood dishes.
Lyme Bay Brut Reserve NV£23.99
A dry, fruit-driven sparkling wine made in the Traditional Method. This wine has a beautiful freshness and is perfect for a special occasion. The nose is clean, vibrant and bursting with lemon, green apples and freshly cut grass. The palate has excellent depth of flavour with tantalising acidity and length. This wine shows balance and gives way to citrus and toast flavours. Pairs beautifully with quality fresh seafood for which the South West is so famous.
Winbirri Signature 2016 This bold red is bursting with rich plum and dark-berry fruits; spicy with notes of coffee and blackberries. Plum and vanilla come through beautifully on the palate. An excellent accompaniment to cheese. Simpsons Rabbit Hole Pinot Noir Deep crimson in colour with redcurrant, blueberry and exotic spice aromas. Silky tannins are complemented by black fruit flavours and undertones of freshly ground coffee. Match with British venison bresaola, rabbit linguine, or roast beetroot risotto Toppesfield Bacchus 2019 This wine has flavours of gooseberry, nettle and elderflower. It has a refreshing finish and excellent length. This wine pairs very well with seafood, particularly shellfish, and fresh summer salads. Ashdown Ortega 2018 This wine has bold aromas of verbena, apricot and hazelnut which lead to flavours of ripe peach, Mirabelle plum and baked apples on the palate. Pairs beautifully with herby roast chicken or wild mushroom risotto. Bardfield Anne of Cleves 2018 A delightful Bacchus with round fruit flavours. Soft and refreshing with delicate pear on the palate. Easy drinking and delicious on its own, or with a summer BBQ. Best of Sparkling Pinks
Trevibban Pinot Noir Brut An elegant wine with beautiful soft bubbles. This wine has delicious hints of strawberries and cream. The wine is 100% Pinot Noir and has spent a minimum of three years on the lees. Pairs well with strawberries and cream, fruit tarts, afternoon tea and meringue dishes. Lady Elizabeth Sparkling Rose An attractive pale salmon colour with a soft, fine mousse. Tangy, tangerine fruit on the front palate, and really pronounced Pinot Noir character on the finish. Pairs beautifully with canapés or is equally as delightful on its own. Camel Valley Pinot Noir Rose This is a light rosé made from Pinot Noir grapes. It’s dry with juicy crushed raspberry and strawberry flavours to the fore. Perfect for sipping al fresco or with barbecued mackerel.
Best of Blanc de Blancs
Ridgeview Blanc de Blancs 2014 The nose of this wine is subtle with hints of honey and a brioche. A refreshing palate with crisp minerality, alongside citrus and white tropical fruits. Pairs well with oysters, lemon butter and scallops. Woodchurch Blanc de Blancs 2014 This wine has aromas of delicious pears and almonds. There are refreshing apple and butter flavours on the palate and a beautifully long citrus lime finish. This wine is a great aperitif and also the perfect accompaniment to seafood. Wiston Blanc de Blancs 2015 Lifted, almost floral aromas with a deft weave of apple, tangerine and pear fruits. Yeasty, bready richness, this wine is concentrated and poised with good length. You almost crave to sip this by the sea with a huge plate of freshly shucked oysters.
Woodchurch Rosé 2019£18.99
This Rosé is made from Pinot Noir Burgundy clones 828 and 943 all grown on the single estate vineyard in Woodchurch. The wine is made by the talented Mattheiu Elzinga of Litmus Wines who is known for making drinkable and epic wines. Salmon pink in colour and displays an abundance of fresh raspberry, strawberries and cream character on the nose. On the palate the strawberries and cream come through with a vibrant, dry and refreshing acidity that leads to a balanced and long lived finish.
