Description
Nutbourne Nutty “Wild” NV isis a lower alcohol sparkling wine made by classic bottle fermentation, from the second pressing of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. This is a light joyous drink with a hint of strawberries and raspberries, delicate and tangy with a soft blush tint.
Produced as a simple, young, natural wine made with minimal interference, fermented to 10% alcohol, Nutty Wild is for quaffing with friends and pairs well with summer berries. A great drink for barbecues and buffets, it is an “anytime” easy drinking fizz to make you smile.
The art: Just as Nutbourne wines are only made from grapes grown on the estate, every bottle features Bridget Gladwin’s paintings. This is an image of the vine in Winter, but with the exotic colours of a wild party.
Nutbourne is a family run, boutique vineyard and winery. The vineyard has been run by the family since 1991 and they get involved with every aspect. They produce a range of award winning still and sparkling wines from grapes grown on the estate, with every part of winemaking taking place on site.
It is a wonderful place to visit in the heart of West Sussex, with wildflower meadows, alpacas, lakes, places to picnic and stunning views along the vineyard trail.
