Description
Fitz Pink has an intense pink hue akin to Laurent Perrier’s Rosé offering. On the nose the wine has a luscious confected strawberry aroma with some floral notes. On the palate the wine is dry and full of wild strawberry, redcurrant and rhubarb flavours. The wine has a fine and persistent mousse and far greater depth and complexity then other Charmat method wines. It has great balance and a clean crisp finish with good length.
Fitz Pink is best paired with either a rich smooth chicken liver paté or if you’re looking for something sweeter a traditional cream tea is a perfect match.

About the vineyard
Fitz
Fitz’s hard working and talented network of English farmers have been growing grapes in England for over 40 years.
England is classed as a cool climate region when it comes to grape production which means growing quality fruit is far from easy! Growers must contend with England’s famous variable weather, dodging late spring frosts and carefully nurturing their crops through the various climatic issues that get thrown their way. Fitz carefully select only the best growers who are able to provide reliable volumes of quality fruit.
Fitz took the active decision to move away from only using the traditional method grape varieties and utilise more esoteric and interesting grapes that have been growing in this country for
decades. These grapes of Northern European heritage are suited to our climate and terrain and offer an interesting and fruit driven flavour profile to our wines.
The grapes used are a blend of Seyval Blanc, Madeleine Angevine, Reichensteiner and Chardonnay. The Winemaker and Vineyard Managers work closely together to ensure the best possible quality grapes year on year. This allows Fitz to create the best quality wine for everyone to enjoy.
Fitz is the first English wine producer to create a Charmat method sparkling wine. This production method is most commonly associated with the popular Italian sparkling wine, Prosecco. The
method involves the use of stainless steel tanks to house secondary fermentation and produces a fruit driven sparkling wine that offers
a different style of wine focused far more on being fresh, affordable and fun whilst still retaining a focus on high quality and a premium feel.
