Exactly one year ago today, we went live on the website, and WOW! What a year it has been! These 366 days have been full of awards, new wines, vineyard trips, restaurant tastings, new partnerships, media interviews and more…
To celebrate our first birthday, we thought we would look back at our ten biggest moments.
The Best of the Best
Elizabeth Rose Wines continues to be run by us, Becky and Sara! Fuelled by passion and strong coffee, we are still working tirelessly to find the best wines, promote tourism and increase awareness of the industry.
We are reaching more consumer and trade customers every day. Working with Elizabeth Rose, means working with us. A personal yet professional experience. When you work with best friends, you get the best.
On the Airwaves
On 6th March we were up bright and early to talk all things English Wine and Elizabeth Rose Wines on Talk Radio with James Max. It was great to spread the word on such an incredible radio show, and we hope to go back on the show for a tasting too!
The Elizabeth Rose X Elder St Café Partnership Expands
In August, we opened our first ever retail space at the amazing Elder St Deli. With ten different English and Welsh wines on offer, customers can now pick up a bottle of our wine with their freshly baked bread, artisan cheese, and local produce.
The wines have been flying off the shelves and with a different selection each month, the customers continue to discover the best wines England and Wales has to offer.

Building Restaurant Partnerships
We love our restaurant partners! Pairing their stunning food with our wines really excites us. We now represent multiple restaurants, including Craft in Birmingham, Elder St Café in Essex and the The Green Dragon in Coventry.

We’ve filmed and released all of our tastings and we’ve had great feedback! We want to taste wines in an honest and down to earth way to give you an insight into a wine before you buy it.
We’ll be filming and releasing more and more and we’d love to know what you think.
Discovering Wales
At the beginning of 2020 we added our first Welsh Wines to the website!
We now stock six Welsh Wines and we are extremely impressed by them. The White Castle and Montgomery wines are must-try’s!
Wine & Waffles
In July, we paired up with the fantastic Waffle & Co for their Wine and Waffles event! These ladies do fantastic events and we were so pleased to work with them. We cannot wait for some more Wine and Waffles in the future!
Road Trip!
We’ve continued to visit as many vineyards as possible (COVID permitting), we absolutely love meeting the people behind the wines, tasting their hard work and touring their fantastic vineyards. In 2020, we’ve added four pages of wines to our website! We are truly on the forefront of the industry.
