A Mid-Year Update from Our Director
If you've been following Elizabeth Rose Wine for a while, you'll know we're always talking about how exciting English wine is. Looking back over the last six months, it's made me realise just how much we've packed in and I wanted to share a little update with you.
The biggest change has been a personal one. Earlier this year, I joined the business full time, and it's been such a privilege to spend every day working with incredible English wines and the passionate people who make them.
One of the highlights was our trip into the vineyards across Kent and Sussex to catch up with many of our producers. There's something special about seeing the vines, visiting the winery, and being reminded firsthand that every producer and every bottle has its own story.
Closer to home, we organised our very first pop-up at Longhorn Farm Shop, Cottenham. Meeting so many of you in person was a real highlight, and we're hoping it's the first of many.
Behind the scenes, we've also been working on something that has been months in the making, our brand-new website. It's a project we're incredibly proud of, and we hope it makes discovering English wine even easier (and more enjoyable!). Pop over and take a look for yourself.
Finally, we rounded off June by celebrating English Wine Week. It was wonderful to see so many people across social media and in person championing the industry that we love every day. We also had a fantastic time at Fen Edge Festival, where we sold over 100 bottles of English wine, and hosted a wine tasting at The Yard in Ely, introducing even more people to the incredible quality and diversity of English wines.

Looking Ahead
As we head into the second half of the year, there's plenty to look forward to. We'll be back at Longhorn Farm Shop over the August Bank Holiday weekend, so if you're local to Cambridge, we'd love to see you there. We'll also be attending the annual WineGB Trade Tasting, where we'll be catching up with producers, discovering exciting new wines, and bringing back plenty of inspiration to share with you.
Before we know it, the festive season will be just around the corner. It might seem early to mention Christmas, but behind the scenes we'll soon be busy putting together our Christmas gift collections and packing your festive orders. We know many of you love sharing English wine with friends and family, and we can't wait to help make your celebrations that little bit more special.
Thank you for continuing to support our family business. We're excited for everything the next six months have in store and look forward to sharing it with you, one bottle at a time.
Cheers,
Victoria
