Why we love Flint Vineyard

My first unforgettable English wine was Silex from Flint Vineyard. At 19, staying in my first Airbnb in Bungay, I nervously bought this sleek bottle thinking, “Surely this can’t be English.” The first sip completely changed my perspective. Apricots, smoke and honey filled the glass, and from that moment my fascination with English wine truly began.

Based in rural South Norfolk, Flint benefits from one of the driest and sunniest areas in the UK. These conditions allow grapes to ripen with consistency, helping to produce fruit with brightness and character. Everything is handled on-site, from harvest through to winemaking, ensuring complete control and attention to detail at every stage.
