Wiston Estate is a family-run vineyard in West Sussex, owned by the Goring family since 1743. The vineyard itself was planted in 2006 on a south-facing chalk escarpment within the South Downs, a site chosen for its similarity to some of the world’s leading sparkling wine regions.
Working with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, Wiston Estate produces traditional method English sparkling wines shaped by the estate’s natural conditions. The vineyard benefits from a sheltered position and strong sun exposure, supporting consistent ripening and balanced fruit.
A strong focus is placed on sustainability and long-term stewardship of the land, with vineyard practices designed to work in harmony with the surrounding environment.
