Riverview Crouch Valley is a vineyard located in the Crouch Valley in Essex, one of England’s most recognised regions for wine production. Set on south-westerly slopes overlooking the River Crouch, the site benefits from a favourable microclimate and London clay soils suited to growing high-quality grapes.
Established in 2017 by husband-and-wife team Umut and Katie Yesil, the vineyard was developed from family-owned arable land with a focus on producing premium, small-batch wines. Working with key grape varieties including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, the vineyard produces both still and sparkling wines that reflect the character of the site.
Grapes are grown using a considered, sustainable approach that supports soil health and biodiversity. Winemaking is carried out in partnership with an experienced winery, allowing Riverview Crouch Valley to focus on producing wines with clarity, balance and a strong sense of place.
