Flint Vineyard's Charmat is a refreshing, juicy, easy drinking sparkling. Created to be enjoyed young, there is no need to wait for a special occasion when you feel the urge to pop this cork. Produced by fermentation in a stainless steel tank, rather than the bottle, the Charmat method locks in the vibrant fruit character of this diverse grape blend! Sauvignon Blanc 26%, Reichensteiner 21%, Bacchus 16%, Auxerrois 14%, and a blend of other aromatic varieties 23% Flint vineyard is located in South Norfolk, one of the driest places in England. Head Winemaker and founder Ben Witchell, has a degree in Oenology and Viticulture. His scientific yet open minded approach has led to a range of innovative and outstanding wines.

Founded in 2016, Flint was shaped by Head Winemaker Ben Witchell’s drive to understand and create exceptional wine. With a background in oenology and viticulture, and experience gained in Beaujolais, his approach blends technical precision with a more creative, hands-on style.

Recognising the potential of Norfolk’s dry climate, Flint was established on land ideally suited to producing expressive, high-quality fruit. From the outset, the focus has been on crafting characterful still wines, with early plantings of Bacchus and Pinot Noir later joined by Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris.

What began as a small venture has grown into a collaborative effort, with a dedicated team working towards a shared goal: producing modern English wines defined by clarity, balance and individuality.
