The Giffords Hall Madeleine Angevine is a zesty white from Suffolk. Bursting with grapefruit and apple backed up with floral notes and hint of young tropical fruit. 100% Madeleine Angevine Very dry, crisp, refreshing white. Excellent as an aperitif, with light dishes or fish. Giffords Hall is a family owned vineyard planted on the site of an ancient glacial riverbed near Long Melford in Suffolk. The sandy/clay soil produces quality grapes, high in natural sugars and acids. The vineyard produces a range of wines that have won many awards over multiple years. Each Vintage is carefully produced in small batch tanks and barrels only, with particular attention to express each gape variety to the best of its ability every year. Not sticking to a strict recipe but moving and changing depending on the vintage.
