Description
The Riverview Pinot Noir from Crouch Valley, also known as the new hot spot for still English wines! Single varietal Pinot Noir hand-picked in 2022. Delicate floral notes and lifted red fruit aromas of strawberry, red currant and cranberry, with just a hint of smoke, orange peel and sweet spice on a lingering finish. The wine has spent time in a mixture of old and new French oak barrels for 12 months to create a beautifully balanced and elegant style of Pinot Noir.

Riverview Crouch Valley Wine

Riverview Crouch Valley is a vineyard located in the Crouch Valley in Essex, one of England’s most recognised regions for wine production. Set on south-westerly slopes overlooking the River Crouch, the site benefits from a favourable microclimate and London clay soils suited to growing high-quality grapes.

Established in 2017 by husband-and-wife team Umut and Katie Yesil, the vineyard was developed from family-owned arable land with a focus on producing premium, small-batch wines. Working with key grape varieties including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, the vineyard produces both still and sparkling wines that reflect the character of the site.

Grapes are grown using a considered, sustainable approach that supports soil health and biodiversity. Winemaking is carried out in partnership with an experienced winery, allowing Riverview Crouch Valley to focus on producing wines with clarity, balance and a strong sense of place.
