The Nutbourne Pinot Gris is a limited-edition wine from this family run-estate. Made from 100% Pinot Gris, a delicately floral nose entices you towards the glass, followed by notes of fresh pear and subtle stone fruit. The palate has a surprisingly rich texture for an English Pinot Gris, offering a little grip, likely due to the small portion that has been aged in neutral French oak barrels. The perfect English wine for any Pinot Grigio lover!

Nutbourne is a family run, boutique vineyard and winery. The vineyard has been run by the family since 1991 and they get involved with every aspect.  They produce a range of award winning still and sparkling wines from grapes grown on the estate, with every part of winemaking taking place on site.

Nutbourne Wine

Nutbourne is a family-run vineyard located in West Sussex, producing a range of English still and sparkling wines from estate-grown grapes. First planted in 1979 and managed by the Gladwin family since 1991, the vineyard has developed into a well-established boutique producer within the South East.

Set on gentle south-facing slopes and sheltered by the South Downs, the vineyard benefits from a warm microclimate and green sand soils similar to those found in parts of the Champagne region. These conditions support a range of grape varieties, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Bacchus.

All aspects of production take place on site, from vineyard management through to winemaking and bottling. A combination of traditional methods and careful vineyard practices allows Nutbourne to produce balanced, expressive wines that reflect both the estate and its Sussex setting.
