The Nutbourne Sussex Reserve is a “field blend” wine which showcases the terroir of Nutbourne. This wine combines the soil, the geography and the climate of this corner of West Sussex. There is no other wine to replicate it in the world.
With tremendous freshness it is crisp, dry, and aromatic. Combining old vine Riesling-style German varietals with Pinot Noir. Pronounced lime peel with hints of eucalyptus. Perfect to drink on its own or with lighter meals.

Nutbourne Wine

Nutbourne is a family-run vineyard located in West Sussex, producing a range of English still and sparkling wines from estate-grown grapes. First planted in 1979 and managed by the Gladwin family since 1991, the vineyard has developed into a well-established boutique producer within the South East.

Set on gentle south-facing slopes and sheltered by the South Downs, the vineyard benefits from a warm microclimate and green sand soils similar to those found in parts of the Champagne region. These conditions support a range of grape varieties, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Bacchus.

All aspects of production take place on site, from vineyard management through to winemaking and bottling. A combination of traditional methods and careful vineyard practices allows Nutbourne to produce balanced, expressive wines that reflect both the estate and its Sussex setting.
