Two bottles of still wine from Balfour Winery located in Tonbridge, Kent.

Balfour is one of England’s leading producers, crafting award-winning traditional method sparkling wines and outstanding still wines.

Skye’s Chardonnay is sourced from a variety of vineyards and soil types across Kent. Made without oak, the purity and clarity of the fruit really shine through. Aged for seven months on the lees with regular bâtonnage, this adds just the right amount of texture and depth to the wine. Think Chablis, but English.

Luke’s Pinot Noir is a blend of fruit from Kent and Essex. The Crouch Valley in Essex is gaining a reputation for producing exceptionally ripe fruit - ideal for still wines, especially Pinot Noir. A gentle touch of oak adds depth, while the fruit remains the star of the show.

All Elizabeth Rose Gift Sets will be delivered in our branded wooden gift box and each bottle is individually hand wrapped in paper.

Balfour English Winery

Balfour is one of England’s leading producers, crafting award-winning traditional method sparkling wines and outstanding still wines.

Their story began when the Balfour-Lynn family planted their first vineyards in 2002. Leslie had the dream of making a sparkling rosé, inspired by her favourite tipple Billecart Salmon Rosé. When their first Rosé launched in 2004 it quickly became a major success, winning a gold medal and trophy in the International Wine Challenge for its first vintage. The Balfour Vintage Brut Rosé remains at the heart of their production today.

Over half of Balfour’s vineyards are located on Hush Heath Estate itself in Kent, they also manage vineyards with long-term partners across the county and beyond including Essex, the new home of outstanding still wine in England.
